Third-Party API

ELspot connects to a third-party API to fetch electricity prices and CO₂ data. This API may log your IP address in connection with the requests. You can read more about this in our data provider's privacy policy.

Subscription

If you choose to subscribe to the expanded features (widget and Apple Watch app), information is exchanged with Apple in connection with the payment. You can find Apple's App Store privacy policy here.

Other than this, no data leaves your device unless you make a backup, e.g., to iCloud.

Local Data Storage

All settings and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not synchronized to external servers.
